Narooma crash claims life of female driver

A collision between a sedan and a truck on the Princes Highway south of Narooma has claimed the life of a female driver this morning.

The crash occurred about 7:10 am (Monday 15 April 2019), when the northbound car and a truck travelling south collided.

The female driver of the car, unfortunately, died at the scene.

The male driver of the truck has been taken to Moruya Hospital for mandatory testing.

Traffic diversions are in place for light traffic only along the Old Princes Highway via Tilba.

What can be said that hasn’t already been said, if I see these notices I repost them, yesterday I posted asking people to take care with school holidays and Easter this past 3 days, 3 major accidents that I know of this weekend and 2 of them fatal just in our area, Police can only do so much, maybe monetary fines are not enough they are just fund raising for the govt, perhaps we need a “Shame” program where if you are caught breaking the law over a certain monetary amount you have to display Green P plates.
