The entire South Coast has also been deluged by heavy rainfall totals, making for slippery and dangerous conditions on the road.

With reference to the loaded logging truck in the photo and the safety of locals. Did the logging truck from current logging of Mogo State Forest?

“Haulage for active logging west of Mogo in Compartment 173 bordering Ross Ridge Road is along Quart Pot Road and Buckenbowra Road to the Princes Highway or north east via Quart Pot, Ross Ridge and Runnyford Roads to Princes Highway. School bus route – Buckenbowra Road is frequently used by light traffic to commute to school and work on weekdays 7.30-9 am and 3-5pm. To the greatest extent possible, log haulage should avoid these times”. Reference – Forestry Corporation NSW Harvest and Haul Plan Mogo State Forst Compartments 161A and 173A.
