Police appeal for information following hit-and-run of man and child in Goulburn

Police continue to search for a driver who allegedly struck a man who was holding a child near the Big Merino.

Just after 3:30 pm on Monday (13 June), Hume Police District officers were called to Hume Street, Goulburn, following reports a man had been hit by a ute.

Police were told the 36-year-old man, who had been holding an infant, was hit twice by a silver utility. The driver allegedly failed to stop and help.

The man was treated for minor grazing by paramedics, but did not need further treatment. The child was not injured.

Anyone with information, including witnesses, have been urged to contact Goulburn Police on 4824 0799 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
