Man killed in early morning crash at Murrumbateman

A man has died after his car crashed into a tree in Murrumbateman.

Emergency services were called to Murrumbateman Road at Murrumbateman, about 25km southeast of Yass, at about 4:30 this morning (Friday, 2 September).

On arrival NSW Ambulance paramedics found the driver of a Subaru Forester with serious injuries.

Despite their efforts, he died at the scene a short time later.

The man has not been formally identified, but it’s believed he’s aged in his 60s.

A crime scene has been established as police officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
