Driver dies after single-vehicle crash in the Riverina

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s south.

About 2:15 pm on Sunday 31 March 2024, emergency services responded to reports a car had hit a tree along Edwardstown Road, South Gundagai.

The 69-year-old driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

Officers from Riverina Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
