Driver charged over fatal three-vehicle crash on the Far South Coast

A woman has been charged over a fatal three-vehicle crash which occurred on the Far South Coast last month.

A 23-year-old man died in the multi-vehicle crash which happened at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Old Mossy Point Road at Bimbimbie, 15 km south of Batemans Bay, in the evening of Tuesday, 4 July.

The drivers of the other two vehicles involved – a 46-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man – were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Moruya Hospital with minor injuries.

The woman has now been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.

She’s been issued a Future Court Attendance Notice to appear before Moruya Local Court on Friday, 10 November.
