The property market continued to confound pundits in 2020. Instead of sending prices plunging, COVID-19 changed the way we looked at where we live. With the ability to work from home, suddenly a sea-change or tree-change seemed to make perfect sense.

12. Back to the future at Victorian era Thornleigh and the (not so) Secret Garden

Majors Creek pub, also known as the Elrington Hotel, was constructed in 1913, replacing the previous Elrington Hotel, that was built across the road in 1856 to serve prospectors during the gold rush at Dargues Reef (which reopened for mining in 2019).
