Motorists are being advised of changed traffic conditions on the Hume Highway as a section of it undergoes repair work.
Transport for NSW will carry out maintenance work to repair the road surface southbound at Marulan from 2 February. The repairs are expected to last for three weeks.
The works are scheduled to occur between 7 pm and 6 am on Sunday to Thursday nights (weather permitting).
Concrete slabs will also be replaced on the southbound lanes from just south of Medway Road for about 1.4 kilometres.
During the work, single-lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place, to ensure the safety of workers and road users.
A reduced speed limit of 80 km/h and single-lane closures will be in place outside of work hours until the repair works are completed.
Road users are asked to leave five minutes of additional travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW said it thanked the community for their patience while they carried out the essential work.
