FOUND: Police appeal for public's help to find missing 32-year-old Tekleselassie

UPDATE 17 May: A NSW Police spokesperson said the 32-year-old man has been located and is safe.

15 May: Police have called on the public to help search for a man missing from Queanbeyan.

A NSW Police spokesperson said 32-year-old Tekleselassie McPherson was last seen on 10 May leaving a supermarket in Riverside Plaza on Monaro Street in Queanbeyan.

“When he could not be located or contacted, Tekleselassie was reported missing yesterday (14 May) to officers from Monaro Police District Police, who commenced inquiries to locate him,” they said.

“Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.”

Tekleselassie is described as being of African appearance, about 155 cm tall, of thin build and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a uniform.

Tekleselassie is known to frequent the Queanbeyan area and is believed to have been in the Mount Jerrabomberra area yesterday (14 May).
