A missing man from Batemans Bay has been found at Eden “safe and well” according to police.
Concern for 54-year David Lane increased on Friday (August 23) when a search for the Surf Beach resident, who by that stage had been missing for six days failed to find any trace.
Information supplied to police suggested that Mr Lane was in the Pambula Beach area and the community responded in kind, sharing the information widely.
Late Friday night police were called to Aslings Beach Road, at Eden where Mr Lane and his car were located.
He was taken to South East Regional Hospital in Bega for assessment.
Police have thanked the community for their assistance.
