Man killed in single-vehicle crash near Cooma

NSW Police have confirmed a man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash about 17 km west of Cooma.

Officers had been called to Slacks Creek Road, Coolringdon, at about 9:30 am on Sunday (14 July) following concern for welfare reports.

Police found a ute which had left the road when they arrived.

“Initial inquiries have led police to believe the vehicle rolled a number of times, before coming to a stop,” a NSW Police statement read.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was found dead inside.

He’s believed to be a man aged in his 40s.

Police have received no other reports of injury.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
