Blackshaw Real Estate Coastal licensee Pat Jameson says the views from 8 Karana Close in Long Beach are second to none.

“The glorious ocean and beach views from this property have to be seen to be fully appreciated,” she said.

“The owners have enjoyed waking to the sound of the waves breaking and have been privileged to watch whales on their migration journeys.”

“Many happy holidays have been spent relaxing with friends and family on the deck, enjoying the sea breezes and watching people on the beach.”

A three bedroom and three bathroom home, the modern home is close to the beach on the NSW South Coast.

“The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and is set high – perfect for maximising the ocean views in the popular suburb of Long Beach, near Batemans Bay,” she said.

Pat says the flexible floor plan means this home will be an ideal property home to enjoy with family and friends.

“From the moment you arrive at the property, the high ceilings and open plan floorplan over three levels gives the property a light and spacious feel,” she said.

“In terms of the living space, you’ve got one level where you’ve got a big rumpus room and bathroom downstairs, which is great for a teenage retreat.

“At the middle level, you’ve got the main level – the three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and then the top level has the open plan kitchen-lounge-dining room, opening onto the nice deck.

The home also boasts additional off-street marking, hurricane-strength reinforced windows and sliding doors, two 5000 L water tanks that are connected to the house, two reverse-cycle air-conditioners, a dishwasher and a separate powder room.

“This is a modern, architecturally designed home,” she said.

“There are other homes nearby, but this has been designed in a really modern style.”

Pat says the deck and patio areas overlook the beach, which is less than 200 metres away.

“It doesn’t feel like your regular residential house,” she said.

“This is definitely a beach retreat.”

Pat says Long Beach is known for being a quieter area of the NSW South Coast.

“It is slightly more private and you don’t get as much traffic and so forth through there,” she said.

“It is a bit of a tightly held secret among the locals who live there.

“And yes, even in the height of summer you still feel that you’re in a very peaceful beach retreat.”

Pat says 8 Karana Close has the easy access to the sun, sea and sand that many people dream of in summertime – or move to the coast in search of.

“It is close to a very unspoiled – and beautiful – beach which is particularly suitable for small children because it hasn’t got big waves or anything,” she says.

“It’s a pet-friendly beach as well, so people often head out there with their dogs.”

In the past, the property has been used as a rental property.

“It’s lovely as a home that is used on a more regular basis, but it’s got great potential for someone who wants a holiday home they can lock up and leave,” she says.

“If they want to get some extra income it’s also ideal for renting out.”
