Investigation launched after woman’s body found in Goulburn

Detectives have commenced an investigation after a woman’s body was found in a Goulburn home this morning (Saturday, 3 January 2025).

About 7 am, police went to a home on Joshua Street, Goulburn, following reports of a concern for welfare.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District attended and forced entry into the home, where they located the body of woman.

Police are yet to formally identify the woman however they believe she is aged in her 40s.

A crime scene has been established with detectives attached to The Hume Police District and State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad commencing an investigation into the incident.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
