There are three major events on in the Snowy Mountains this Easter weekend that the whole family can enjoy.
Take a stroll past incredible artworks at Lake Light Sculpture or enjoy the varied entertainment, including music and competitions, offered in the Berridale and Adaminaby Easter Fairs.
Lake Light Sculpture
An annual outdoor sculpture exhibition held each Easter on the Lake Jindabyne foreshore, Lake Light Sculpture will astound visitors with stunning artworks.
Those thinking of attending are encouraged to visit the sculptures when night falls with the artworks lit from sunset to 10 pm each night.
On 3 April there will be a twilight food market and the Djaadjawan Indigenous Dancers will perform from 5:30 pm before a Digital Art Light Show and music by DJ Matiaz from sunset.
Lake Light Sculpture is on 2 to 5 April at Banjo Paterson Park in Jindabyne.
Berridale Easter Fair
A monster Easter fair organised by the Berridale Lions will feature plenty of entertainment for everyone.
The Berridale Easter Fair will kick off on 3 April from 9 am to 2 pm at the Lions and Central Parks in Jindabyne.
The event’s entertainment includes an Easter Bunny egg scramble, plenty of stalls, a jumping castle, heavy machinery display, small animal petting zoo, a cake and craft store as well as a display by the Cooma Car Club.
The Cooma Concert Band will also be performing folk songs.
Adaminaby Easter Fair
Head along to the Adaminaby Easter Fair for a great day out with all the family in the Snowy Mountains.
The fun starts on 3 April from 9 am to 3 pm in venues around Adaminaby.
There will be live music, market stalls, trout tossing, a dog high jump, an “ox” call contest, a jumping castle, wood auction, a visit from the Easter Bunny and the Wacky Quacky Duck Race.
