Under the banner of “About Regional” I offer content creation across online, radio and video platforms, media relations as well as the management and presentation of community engagement and consultation.
My professional and personal life has been spent in regional communities.
In that time I have come to appreciate the subtleties and energy around communication in that unique setting.
My focus is on helping government agencies, private enterprises and country people communicate with each other and work together.
The end result is a shared sense of purpose and an understanding of each others experience, skill and point of view.
The values I work to are geared towards seeing regional centres prosper while respecting the ownership country people have of their built, natural and social environment.
I am storyteller across a range of formats and styles.
I have broad media experience in public broadcasting, commercial and community radio.
My skills have adapted to the changing media landscape, taking in audio, written and video content for broadcast and online platforms.
I appreciate my audience and have an affinity with regional communities, their issues and dynamics.
I have led change and can forecast and adapt to changing circumstances and emergencies.
