Two men have been seriously injured in what police believe was a stabbing in central Queanbeyan.
Police officers were called to a business in Crawford Street at about 1 pm on Friday (8 August) over reports of a brawl, a NSW Police spokesperson said.
After they arrived, police were told that two men, both believed to be in their 20s, had been taken to Queanbeyan Hospital with serious injuries.
“Detectives attached to Monaro Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation,” the police spokesperson said.
“Early indications suggest the injured men were stabbed. It is not known whether other weapons were involved.”
One passerby after the incident described seeing what appeared to be a large amount of blood on the footpath outside a Crawford Street business.

When contacted about the incident, a spokesperson from NSW Ambulance said a man aged in his 20s presented himself to Queanbeyan Hospital suffering from multiple injuries early on Friday afternoon.
He was then transferred to another medical facility.
