The Milton-Ulladulla community has rallied to support a young father and toddler left behind following the death of 22-year-old Sarah Elsworth and her unborn child last week.

Sarah and her unborn son were tragically killed when her car and a truck collided on the Princes Highway south of the Sussex Inlet turn-off around 6:30 am on 14 August.

The South Coast community has been rocked by her death and, over the past week, businesses have thrown their support behind Sarah’s partner Marc Hammond and the couple’s one-year-old daughter Aaliyah.

From eyelash services and coffee to dog grooming and hair products, businesses have donated the proceeds of their ”AM” fundraisers to help the family in their time of need. Staff at Remmy Disability Service donated their bonuses for the week and Foxy’s Cafe raised $1700 via coffee sales on Friday (18 August).

Sarah grew up in the Ulladulla area and was well known in the community. Her funeral will be held at the Dunn Lewis Centre in Ulladulla at 11:30 am on Thursday, 24 August, with refreshments at the Ulladulla Civic Centre after a private burial.
