A land search is currently underway in the region north of Canberra for a missing woman, 34-year-old Tina Quinn.
NSW Police said Ms Quinn was last seen at a property on Yass River Road at Yass River, a rural area between Murrumbateman and Gunning, at about 10:30 am on Sunday (16 July).
She was in contact with family at about 5 pm that day via a text message, but has not been able to be contacted since.
“Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare,” a police spokesperson said.
The coordinated land search started at 9:15 am on Tuesday, with the help of Police Rescue and the SES.
The police spokesperson described Ms Quinn as being of African appearance, about 175 cm tall, of thin build, with light-brown hair, light-brown eyes and a tattoo of three five-pointed stars on the back of her neck.
