‘You’ll Never Guess Where I Hid the Cheese’ is coming to Dalgety, Cooma, Bermagui, Candelo and Moruya these school holidays.
“Regional kids don’t often get to see live theatre that’s just for them and just as a sneaky aside – this one is great for grown-ups too,” says Andrew Gray, Executive Director of South East Arts.
“We really hope the community gets behind this show. Suitable for all ages but especially hilarious for preschool and primary students, this is a quality show that shouldn’t be missed.”
‘You’ll Never Guess Where I Hid the Cheese’ is a lactose and laugh heavy family show based on a best-loved children’s book that hasn’t been written yet!
First performed at the Sydney Fringe Festival in 2017 this quirky and hilarious tale tells the story of two superheroes Bobbi and Wanda, AKA the bumbling stars of the show Alicia Gonzalez and Debbie Zukerman.
Fighting crime is their mission but really this pair just want to take a nap and have a little snack before bed. However for Bobbi, her choice of snack, yes you guessed it – cheese, summons Mr Cheesehead into her dreams, who ultimately wants to turn Bobbi and the audience into cheeseheads.

Part sketch comedy, part improv, part audience participation, part cabaret wonderland ‘You’ll Never Guess Where I Hid the Cheese’ is a kooky, electric, bent tale that allows kids to rule and adults to LOL.
With the support of Create NSW and Arts on Tour, South East Arts presents the hilarious ‘You’ll Never Guess Where I Hid the Cheese’ from Choo Choo Troupe these school holidays.

“This is a great, live-action kids’ show suitable for ages 3 to 12 years and even big kids-at-heart. It’s riotously funny with jokes for the whole family – Dad’s included,” Mr Gray says.
“It’s a clown show of cheesy proportions. Imagine Freddy Mercury with a cheesehead, plus puns galore, kooky sound effects and musical wonders.”
