Motorists are advised that traffic conditions on the Olympic Highway have changed this week due to essential drainage work.

The work involves cleaning and relining a concrete drain 1.5 kilometres north of the Olympic Highway intersection with Burley Griffin Way to increase the structure’s life and reduce maintenance.

The essential work will be carried out Monday to Friday between 7 am and 6 pm and at weekends as required, from Monday 16 December for one week and then from Monday 13 January for one week, weather permitting.

Traffic control and reduced speed limits of 40 km/h will be in place to guide road users through the work zone.

Motorists are advised to follow the directions of traffic control and signage and allow an extra five minutes of travel time.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience.
