A police officer has been issued charges after he allegedly assaulted two teenagers on the NSW South Coast last year.

NSW Police said the senior constable, who was attached to the Southern Region, was on duty when he allegedly assaulted two 17-year-olds in Batemans Bay on 31 October 2023.

While both of the teenagers were arrested, they were then released without charge.
