UPDATE: Missing South Coast man's body found

UPDATE 11 am: The body of a man missing from Bermagui has been found at Honeymoon Ridge in Murrah.

Police said he was found deceased at about 8:15 am and that his death was not being treated as suspicious.

The community has been thanked for its help.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

8 am: Police need our help to find a man missing from the South Coast.

Robert Harris, who also goes by Bob Harris, was last seen leaving his Bermagui home at about 11 am on Thursday (2 June) in a dark green Toyota Hilux ute with the NSW registration AJ37VL.

The 64-year-old failed to return home and could not be contacted.

Robert is of Caucasian appearance, 180 cm tall, medium build, with light brown hair and hazel-coloured eyes. He was last seen wearing a white Billabong jumper and black jeans, and is known to frequent beaches along the South Coast.

Anyone with information regarding Robert’s whereabouts is urged to contact Bermagui Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
