UPDATE: Tuesday PM August 2: A woman reported missing from the state’s south was located safe and well on Tuesday afternoon.
The 36-year-old woman was reported missing after she was last seen in Cooper Street, Cootamundra, at about 8:45 pm on Monday.
When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Riverina Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.
Following inquiries, including a public appeal, the woman was located safe and well in Cootamundra on Tuesday afternoon.
Police have thanked the public and the media for their assistance.
Tuesday AM August 2: Police are asking for public assistance to find a missing 36-year-old woman from Cootamundra.
Kasey Slavin was last seen in Cooper Street, Cootamundra, at about 8:45 pm on Monday (31 July).
She was wearing a tan-coloured hooded jumper and black tights.
When she could not be located or contacted, Riverina police were notified and began inquiries to find her.
Kasey is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160-165 cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a nose ring.
Anyone who sees her is urged to contact Riverina police, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or on the Crime Stoppers website. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
