February is mountain biking season in the Snowy Mountains and two of Australia’s biggest mountain bike races are taking place in Thredbo this week.
More dust will be kicked up in Goulburn as the annual rodeo comes to town. Old books will also be on sale at the Goulburn Scout Hall, and Nimmitabel is hosting a good old-fashioned produce show with various animal-themed events and competitions.
A musical performance of the iconic ‘The Addams Family’ is coming to Batemans Bay, while Ulladulla will be dancing to the bagpipes as Canberra City Pipes and Drums brings an air of Scotland to the South Coast.
It’s also the final days for the Hudsons Circus in Batemans Bay.

The Nimmitabel Show is a rural show with a range of horse, sheep and dog events, a produce competition, cooking competition and the Art and Craft Exhibition.
It boasts plenty of fun for all the family with novelty events, poddy calf rides and karaoke during the afternoon.

Hudsons Circus

Hudsons Circus comes to Batemans Bay with a two-hour traditional-style circus with a modern twist. It will feature edge-of-your-seat daredevils, hilarious clowns, aerial acrobatics and beautiful animal acts in a fast-paced show for the whole family.
Snowies MTB Festival

The Snowies MTB Festival is back in 2022 with the Snowy Mountains hosting one of Australia’s most iconic mountain biking stage races.
This year will see the triumphant return of the ‘Thredbo Ricochet’ Stage to the 114 km Wild Brumby Course. The Wild Brumby will also include the Snowy Legends Descent from Thredbo to Gaden and the epic Lower Thredbo Valley Track.

Australia’s biggest mountain bike festival returns this year with a huge line-up of events and entertainment all weekend.
Catering for amateurs, rising stars, and world champions of all ages, Cannonball will see the mountain bike world hit Thredbo for five days of gravity-fuelled mountain biking. There is the chance for some to take home a share of the massive $100,000 in cash and prizes on offer.
