UPDATED 1:45 pm, 24 December: Robert Gilmour has been located safe and well.
Police wish to thank the public for their assistance.
8:00 am, 24 December: Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Wallendbeen, north of Cootamundra.
Robert Gilmour, aged 75, was last seen at his King Street home in Wallendbeen yesterday (23 December) and hasn’t been heard from since.
Officers from Riverina Police District commenced a search for the man who is believed to be on an older style maroon bicycle wearing a blue and white helmet.
He was wearing blue jeans, a blue/grey t-shirt, a navy-blue jumper and a black jacket.
Mr Gilmour is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 175 cm and 180 cm tall, of medium build with grey hair and hazel eyes.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.
Anyone who sees Mr Gilmour, or believes they know his whereabouts, is urged to contact Cootamundra police on 6942 0099.
