UPDATED: 81-year-old missing in state's south has been found

UPDATE, 28 January, 4 pm: Late on Wednesday afternoon, a police spokesperson said the 81-year-old had been located. “Police would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”

28 January, 3 pm: Police have sent text alerts to people in parts of the Southern Tablelands as they search for a missing woman.

A NSW Police spokesperson said Judith Morrison, aged 81, was last seen driving toward Crookwell along Lost River Road, at about 11 am today (28 January).

When she could not be located, officers attached to The Hume Police District were notified and launched inquiries into her whereabouts.

“Police believe Judith may have taken a wrong turn and become lost,” the spokesperson said.

Judith is described as being of Caucasian appearance and about 170 cm tall. She has a slim build and brown hair.

She was last seen driving a White Volkswagen van (a Caddy 2019 model) with New South Wales registration YJS04B.

Police have also sent a geo-targeting alert to Crookwell, Binda and the surrounding areas from the phone number +61 444 444 444.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Crookwell Police on 02 63398820.
