UPDATED: 53-year-old woman missing from the Monaro has been found

UPDATED, Thursday: Great news! Police have announced that Heidi Groom, who had gone missing from the Monaro on Tuesday, has been found safe and well.

Wednesday: Police have concerns for a woman who has gone missing from the Monaro and are calling for the public’s help to find her.

On Wednesday afternoon (10 January), NSW Police launched an appeal for information on Heidi Groom.

The 53-year-old was last seen in the rural NSW town of Berridale at about 7:40 pm on Tuesday (9 January). When her family were unable to contact her, police were notified and began inquiries into her whereabouts.

“Family and police hold serious concerns for Heidi’s welfare due to medical concerns and her disappearance being out of character,” police said.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165 cm tall, with a medium build and short brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue singlet, black shorts, reading glasses and running shoes.

Ms Groom is known to frequent the Berridale and Monaro areas and was last seen driving a white Toyota FJ Cruiser with NSW registration HWG 060.

Anyone with information about Heidi’s whereabouts is urged to contact Monaro police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
