Police are searching for a man who went missing in the Monaro this week at a time when the region is facing cold and windy conditions.

Duane Duell was last seen at a café in the small town of Bredbo, which is on the Monaro Highway between Cooma and the ACT, at about 5 pm on Tuesday (8 July), NSW Police said.

Police were notified and began inquiries into the 55-year-old’s whereabouts.

“Police and family hold concerns for Duane’s welfare due to a medical condition,” a police spokesperson said.
