A fire at Junee High School has caused extensive damage after flames tore through a roof on Tuesday night (7 May).
Emergency services arrived at the scene just after 9 pm after multiple calls from residents to triple zero and saw smoke issuing from a single-level weatherboard building in the agricultural section of the campus.
A FRNSW spokesperson confirmed that five fire trucks and twenty firefighters attended the scene. Two crews with hose lines attacked the fire and managed to extinguish it.
Fortunately, the building was unoccupied at the time and there are no reports of any injuries.
The building was severely damaged by fire, and the cause is being investigated by police.
It is not being treated as suspicious.
