Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for their forever homes at the Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League!
Cat of the week: James
Meet James!
James is a handsome, laid-back four-year-old gentleman.
This eight kilo bundle of pure affection came into care with the Animal Welfare League because of his owner’s serious illness.
James has been raised with dogs and is looking for a new, multi-animal home where he can chill out and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
James adores dogs, welcomes fellow cats, and charms every human he meets with his cruisy, relaxed nature.
James’ special skills include curling up under blankets, kneading biscuits with his chunky paws, and being part of a furry squad.
He loves to cuddle up with people or fellow pets, binge-watch TV and be part of a big family.
James will bring nothing but happiness to whoever adopts him.
Pet update: Sylvie
Loyal 11-year-old puss Sylvie came into care after her elderly owner had a fall.
Sweet Sylvie sat beside her owner for four days as they both waited for help to arrive.
From the moment she was parted from her owner, Sylvie hid and grieved, eating little and clearly distressed at losing her home.
Although her affectionate purr-sonality began to peek through, Sylvie clearly missed her owner.
In wonderful news Sylvie’s owner is now able to return home thanks to support, and she and Sylvie have been reunited.
Carers said as soon as Sylvie was back with her owner and in familiar surroundings her tail went up and she glowed with happiness.
Previously featured Pets of the Week Daisy the dog, along with bonded cats Daisy and Millie are still available for adoption.
James is desexed, microchipped and up to date with his vaccinations. To arrange a meet-up with any of AWL Eurobodalla’s animals for adoption give them a call on 0410 016 612 or use the form on the AWL website.
