COVID-19 case numbers in the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) have now topped 100 since the current outbreak began in June.
There were 11 new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, taking the tally to 109. The majority of the new cases are linked to previous infections.
Of the 11 new cases:
- Seven are in Goulburn – six linked to known cases while one is under investigation;
- Two new cases are in Batemans Bay, both linked to known cases;
- One new case is in Queanbeyan, linked to a known case; and
- One new case is unallocated and is under investigation.
There are also new venues of concern associated with COVID-19 cases. Anyone who visited one of the following venues at the times listed is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received. Staff will be contacted separately by SNSWLHD’s Public Health Unit regarding their testing and isolation requirements.
- Goulburn 7-Eleven, 22 September, 11 am to 12 pm;
- Goulburn Woolworths, Sloane Street, 20 September, 2:50 pm to 4:30 pm; 23 September, 10:50 am to 11:20 am, 1:50 pm to 4:10 pm;
- Goulburn Coles, corner Auburn Street and Clifford Street, 21 September 11:20 am to 12 pm; 22 September, 11:45 am to 12:15 pm;
- Goulburn Caltex, Goldsmith Street, 21 September, 12:20 am to 12:35 am; 24 September, 1:50 pm to 2:10 pm;
- Goulburn Blooms Chemist, 21 September, 2:50 pm to 3:30 pm;
- Goulburn North Post Office, 20 September, 2:20 pm to 2:35 pm;
- Goulburn Return and Earn, Lagoon Street, 20 September, 5:25 pm to 5:40 pm;
- Goulburn BP Merino Fuels, Clifford Street, 20 September, 2:50 pm to 3:05 pm.
If additional venues are identified through further contact tracing these will be announced as soon as they are known.
Anyone who checked in to a venue of concern during the times listed, using the Service NSW QR app, will be notified by SMS from NSW Health as soon as possible over the next 48 hours.
Everyone in the district should be alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19, including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever. If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received.

There have been no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District to 8 pm last night and there are no new venues of concern at this stage.
Cowra has recorded five new COVID-19 cases.
