Four Winds is something unique.
In one sense, it’s a place to go, in an another it’s an event or series of events.
Four Winds is a home for music, nature & shared creativity.
Four Winds conducts a music festival biennially but also a diverse year-round program of concerts, workshops, community events – set in a remarkable coastal bushland setting.
In 2014, the Four Winds site just south of Bermagui was transformed into the Nature’s Concert Hall. The site includes an outdoor amphitheatre, the Soundshell, and a beautiful, all-weather acoustic space, the Windsong Pavilion.
Four Winds is committed to being a part of the South Coast community and finding more ways to encourage and inspire people.

The Crossing @ Bermagui

Over 20 years ago, Dean and Annette Turner acquired an idyllic bush location at Bermagui on Australia’s “Wilderness Coast” and created a camp for young people to learn about the environment, sustainable living, and themselves.
“We imagined a sustainable camp for young people encompassing a unique journey from sea to snow,” Dean and Annette say.
The Sea to Snow Journey for year 10 and 11 students sits at the heart of what The Crossing offers. Taking in the 250km from the sea at Bermagui to Thredbo in Snowy Mountains, participants hike, bike ride, and paddle their way through a terrific achievement.
Sea to Snow students have persistence, positivity, organisation, fitness, teamwork and leadership qualities.
Year round The Crossing offers residential camps for groups up to 24 (expanding to 30 in 2018) pitched mainly secondary and tertiary groups.
Sustainable design, permaculture, leadership skills, Landcare and habitat survey are all important elements in the programs offered.
The Crossing teaches tomorrow’s leaders and puts sustainability into action.
