If you’ve bought a lottery ticket in Cooma recently, it’s time to check your pockets.

A mystery player has picked up the $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize, but they need to check their ticket and discover their winning news.

The NSW player won first prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10448, which was drawn on 15 March, 2021.

The ticket is unregistered so officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased at NewsXpress in Cooma.

NewsXpress Cooma owner Shane Clarke said he couldn’t be happier for his winner and hopes they discover the news soon.

“I just saw we’d sold the winning entry – we are so excited,” he laughed.

“We are over the moon that one of our customers scored this prize. It’s an incredible win for our customer and we hope it makes a positive difference to their life.

“We were certainly due for another major prize win and we’re always so excited when we sell one. Hopefully this is the start of a bit of a winning streak.

“Hopefully the winner checks their ticket in-store, too, so we can share in that incredible winning moment.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she is on the hunt for the mystery winner.

“It’s likely this winner is going about their day as normal with no idea they’ve just won $100,000!” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket from NewsXpress Cooma to check their tickets.

“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won $100,000.

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.

“It’s also a great reminder to players to register their tickets to a player card or online account. That way we can reach out directly if there’s a major prize win.”
