About Ian Campbell

Ian comes from a long background in radio, starting in community radio at high school in Wollongong.

Until March 2016 Ian was Regional Content Manager and Breakfast Presenter for ABC South East NSW - covering towns like Bega, Merimbula, Batemans Bay, Narooma, Cooma, Jindabyne, and Bombala.

“South East NSW is where I have spent half my career, where I am helping raise a family, it’s a place I care about,” Ian says.

It’s a quiet place and sits off the radar. It’s a region of many small communities, and one that relishes being known as 'Canberra's playground'.

Each town has a colour, feel, and set of skills of its own, and while proudly independent each community is connected and interested in the next.
