Man dies in fatal single-vehicle crash near Goulburn

A man died in a fatal single-vehicle crash near Goulburn on the weekend after his car left the road and hit a tree.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Crookwell Road, about 25 km north of Goulburn, at around 2:45 am on Sunday morning (6 April), a NSW Police spokesperson said.

Officers arrived to find a Toyota Hilux had left the road and crashed into a tree.

“The driver – and sole occupant – died at the scene,” the police spokesperson said.

“He is yet to be formally identified.”

Police established a crime scene and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

“A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner,” the spokesperson said.
