The woman accused of causing a car crash on the NSW Far South Coast, which allegedly resulted in serious injuries to a male passenger, has entered pleas of not guilty to all of her charges.
Teagan Bower, a 36-year-old from Gippsland in Victoria, has been charged over the crash on 6 December.
NSW Police originally said emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, near Brogo, over reports of a single-vehicle crash at around 7 pm that evening.
A silver Ford SUV allegedly crashed into a guardrail before rolling, while a male passenger had been thrown from the car during the crash.
Paramedics treated the man, aged 41, for serious leg injuries, and also assessed the alleged driver, Ms Bower.
Both were taken to the South East Regional Hospital for treatment while police seized the SUV for a forensic examination.
Ms Bower was arrested when she was released from hospital on 10 December.
She was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving occasioning grievous harm, driving with a passenger’s seatbelt not properly fastened and unlicenced driving.
Pleas of not guilty were entered to all four charges when the matter appeared in the Bega Local Court on Tuesday (17 December).
The matter was then adjourned for a mention on 11 February 2025.
Ms Bower has been refused bail.
