A 39-year-old woman has died following a multi-vehicle crash near Yass.
A NSW Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to the Hume Highway at Yass at about 8:15 pm on Thursday evening (22 February).
“Officers attached to the Hume Police District attended and located a truck and a sedan car,” they said.
The sole occupant of the sedan was a 39-year-old female, who died at the scene.
The 53-year-old male driver of the truck was taken to Yass Hospital for mandatory testing.
The NSW Police spokesperson said a crime scene had been established as police began their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
