A man has died in a car crash in the state’s south west.
Shortly after 9 pm yesterday (Thursday, March 12) emergency services were called to the Lachlan Valley Way, Boorowa, following reports of a single vehicle crash.
The green Holden station wagon was believed to be travelling in a northerly direction when it left the road and collided with a tree.

While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of a 49-year-old man and the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and established a crime scene.
As inquiries continue, anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
