A 36-year-old woman who crashed her Toyota Kluger into a parked car in Goulburn yesterday afternoon (19 February) was almost six times over the prescribed concentration of alcohol driving limit.

Police said the woman’s 14-year-old son was with her in the vehicle when she crashed into a Holden Commodore shortly after 4:30 pm yesterday.

She was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station where she returned a breath analysis reading of 0.289.

A police spokesperson said police were contacted after the woman’s Toyota Kluger failed to stop after crashing into the parked car on Bradley Street, Goulburn.

Officers from the Hume Police District soon located the Kluger on Auburn Street and spoke with the female driver and her 14-year-old son.

The woman was charged with high range PCA and her licence was immediately suspended.

She is due to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday, 18 March.
