A police raid has allegedly uncovered $31 million worth of cannabis near Goulburn.
A NSW Police spokesperson said detectives from Strike Force Hyperion and members of the dog squad raided a property on Fullerton Road, Fullerton on Wednesday morning (22 January).
They allegedly found 10,461 cannabis plants during the search, which police estimate would be worth $31 million.
The police spokesperson said two men, aged 30 and 34, were arrested at the property and were both charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis.
The two men were refused bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court on Thursday (23 January).
“Investigations under Strike Force Hyperion continue,” the police spokesperson said.
Fullerton is a rural locality about 70 km north of Goulburn.
Strike Force Hyperion is an ongoing investigation that targets outdoor and greenhouse cannabis cultivation across NSW.
