There’s heaps to look forward to in the regions this week, so check out our list of all the best live music, comedy, art and more.
Over the weekend, the Steampacket Hotel brings the heat with three live music performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
In Goulburn, the Bulldogs Sportsman’s Lunch brings together the community for a good cause, raising money for the club as well as the athletes.
Meanwhile, the Snowy Mountains come alive as DJ mastermind Peking Duk drops by for a one-night performance, with drinks set to flow and music set to shake the hills.

Collective Minds – Bingie Collective Art Exhibition
When: 25 to 31 July, open 10 am to 4 pm. Opening night 25 July, 5 pm to 8 pm
Where: Moruya Mechanics’ Institute, 13 Page Street, Moruya
Cost: Free.
The Collective is a group of local artists who meet at the Bingie Pottering Studio and let their creativity run wild. Formed after the Black Summer bushfires to help reconnect and create within the community, the Collective creates works such as ceramics, paintings, woodwork and more, helping to unite the community and art.
Visitors will experience everything from pyrography to sculptural ceramics and expressive paintings. Each piece is a representation of the artist and their individual creativity.

Live music at the Steampacket Hotel

The Steampacket Hotel is one of the favourite spots in the area to have a pint and a good pub feed. This weekend, organisers are upping the ante on their live music game, with performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Featuring artists from around the country, the Steampacket is putting in the work to make this weekend a special one, and all you have to do is bring yourself.

Goulburn City Bulldogs Sportsman’s Lunch
When: 25 July, 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Where: Goulburn Railway Bowling Club, 271 Slaones Street, Goulburn

The Goulburn City Bulldogs Sportsman’s Lunch is the club’s annual auction and fundraising event, helping to keep the tradition of the footy club alive.
NRL greats James Maloney and Jeremy Latimore will be there to share stories of their years in the league. There will also be a memorabilia auction, with proceeds to benefit an injured players’ fund.
Tickets are $150 each or a table for $1200, which includes a three-hour drinks package and a two-course meal.

Après Club ft. Peking Duk DJ Set at Alpine Bar

Peking Duk is coming back to Thredbo for one of the biggest musical nights of the season. Blending pop and electronic dance music, this duo knows how to get the crowd going. Come enjoy the bright lights, the flowing drinks and the thumping tunes, for one memorable night only at the Alpine Bar.

Cars at the Courthouse

Cost: Free.
Held on the last Sunday of each month at the courthouse, Cars at the Courthouse lets car enthusiasts, classic-car owners and revheads get together to share and show off their rides. It’s a great family event where people of all ages are welcome to stickybeak at some beautiful machines. If you have an automotive nut in your family, this is the event for them.

South Coast Timber Eden Cup Race Day

Where: Sapphire Coast Turf Club, 1695 Sapphire Coast Drive, Wallagoot
Cost: Free entry.
Head to the Sapphire Coast Turf Club on Sunday and experience the thrill of the racetrack. With a TAB on site, bookmakers, bars, food vans, a kiosk, a three-legged race and free kids’ entertainment, it promises to be a full day of fun for the whole family.

Tech cafe drop-in session – Bay Pavilions

Where: Bay Pavilions, 12 Vesper Street, Batemans Bay
Cost: Free.
Eurobodalla residents who need help with smartphones, tablets, digital devices or general technology literacy are invited to this free drop-in session, which will clarify many of the unexplained basics of using modern tech.
Digital mentors from The Tech Exec will help visitors with smartphone features, device maintenance and updates, jargon and terminology, security settings, installation of apps, sending emails, attaching documents, and ways to avoid scams.
