The regions are buzzing this week, with a great selection of events on offer – live music, sporting events, town festivals, cart racing, kids workshops and more.
Goulburn’s Vibesfest has plenty of live music, events for kids and great food from local food vendors.
The Snowies Multisport Festival is challenging athletes across the region to test their cross-country running and cycling abilities.
And if you’re in the mood for live music, there’s a little something for everyone, with a Pink Floyd tribute act, local South Coast performers and full evenings of classical music.

Snowies Multisport Festival

Set in some of Australia’s most stunning natural landscapes, the Snowies Multisport Festival is a chance to challenge yourself and your athletic abilities while enjoying some of the nation’s best scenery.
Starting and finishing at Lake Crackenback, this festival features various events such as mountain biking, trail running or even triathlon, giving athletes plenty of choice in how they want to test themselves. Vibesfest 2026
When: 21 February, noon to 9 pm
Where: Belmore Park, Goulburn, 173 Auburn St, Goulburn
Cost: Free.
Vibesfest is bringing a whole lot of excitement to town, with plenty of live music, family-friendly entertainment and delicious food.
There will be live music performances from the Lilac City Brass, the Victoria Street Band and performers from the local high school, the Hume Conservatorium, and popular favourites Midnight Mojo.
Food trucks will be serving up festival treats all day long and for the kids, a $10 wristband purchase gives them access to face painting, a gaming van, a jumping castle, a foam cannon, rides and art activities.
To finish off, the crowd can enjoy fireworks from 8:30 pm.

Brieley Cutting & Doretta Balkizas Lyrical Masterpieces
When: 21 February, 2 pm

This intimate recital at Four Winds will feature some of the best works for violin and piano, beginning with Debussy’s Sonata in G minor, then moving on to Lili Boulanger’s Nocturne.
From there, the evening will move on to Messiaen’s Thème et Variations along with Sutherland’s Nocturne, a work from one of Australia’s most important early modernists. Finishing off the day is Brahms’s Sonata No.1 in G major, with its soaring lyricism and deep romance.

Marking its 10th year, Music by the River will be about celebrating the music of Queen, backed by the amazing talent of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets for the fenced area of the park are sold out but there is still music to be heard, food and drinks to be enjoyed from the stalls and plenty of space to have your own picnic.

Met Fa’oa at the Steampacket Hotel

Met Fa’oa is a local South Coast favourite and this Saturday, he is sharing his love of music and his talent on stage with the patrons of the Steampacket Hotel.
He will be performing a diverse range of music, returning to old school jams and exploring modern sounds of funk. He is well known across the region for his soulful voice and talent on the acoustic guitar.
Fa’oa also takes requests, so don’t be afraid to ask for your favourite tune.

Pink Floyd’s Great Gig in the Sky – Tribute Act at the Bay Pavilions

This Pink Floyd tribute show is set to be an amazing celebration of one of history’s best bands, with a six-piece band performing some of their most beloved hits, along with a video, light and laser show.
Touring across NSW, this tribute act is attracting a lot of attention for its stage presence, faithful sound and amazing ability to bring the music of Pink Floyd to life. Favourites, from Dark Side of the Moon to Wish You Were Here, The Wall, A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell will feature, along with Echoes.

Basketball Clinic with Lauren Jackson and Tess Madgen

She Hoops is a free community camp giving young athletes across the state a chance to hear from the pros about the ins and outs of giving it your all on the court.
Young athletes will benefit from the knowledge of two Australian basketball greats, Lauren Jackson and Tess Madgen. The session will include an on-court basketball session, teaching practical skills, along with an interactive Q&A session and opportunities for photos and autographs.
The clinic is all about inspiring the next generation of athletes by connecting with them and creating meaningful experiences to form links between the greats of now and the greats of tomorrow.
Suitable for girls and boys from six to 14 years old, all skill levels are welcome.

The Monaro Billy Kart Derby is a family-friendly event all about creativity, competition and community-spirited fun. Karters are encouraged to get into the spirit and get ready to race, cheer or celebrate for the Cooma Car Club’s 10th birthday.
