Search resumes for man missing in South Coast waters

The search for a man seen falling into the water from a cliff on Sunday evening at a South Coast beach has resumed.

Emergency services were called to Mystery Bay Beach (about 12 kilometres south of Narooma) at about 6:40 pm yesterday (18 January), where they were told the 23-year-old man had fallen several metres and not resurfaced.

Local police, with assistance from Marine Area Command, Marine Rescue NSW, SES and VRA, started a search of the nearby area.

They were unable to locate the man and the search was suspended later that evening.
