Police are calling for public help to find a man last seen disappearing into bushland south of Cooma.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Rockwell and Dalgety roads, just north of the town of Dalgety, over a concern for welfare around 9 am on Tuesday (11 November), a NSW Police spokesperson said.

Police were told a man, who has not been identified, was seen acting out of character before running into nearby bushland.

“Police have attempted to locate the man; however, they have been unable to contact or find him,” the spokesperson said.

“Officers have concerns for the man’s welfare due to his behaviour before he disappeared.”

Those in the Dalgety and Berridale areas are asked to contact Monaro Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if they see the man.
