Waste to Art tour

When: Until 13 July, 10 am to 2 pm (Friday and Saturday)
Where: Yass Community Centre, 1428 Comur Street, Yass
Cost: Free entry.

The 2024 Wollondilly Waste to Art Prize is going on tour to Yass! The prize, which has been running for many years under different guises, is open to emerging and established artists from across the Goulburn-Mulwaree, Hilltops, Wollondilly, Yass Valley, Upper Lachlan and Queanbeyan-Palerang local government areas. Artists are challenged to apply their creative skills to what others might call waste. The aim of the annual exhibition is to commit to the reduction of waste going to landfill by inviting artists to make art from waste materials. In 2024, the focus material was textile waste.
