There’s plenty to do in the region this Anzac Day long weekend, especially if you love art, live music, markets and delicious food.

The Aussie Night Markets will take over Queanbeyan Showground with delicious sweets, savoury foods, market stalls and kids’ rides from Friday to Saturday.

Now’s your last chance to catch the Easter Art Exhibition in Merimbula, which wraps up on Sunday. There’s also an Aboriginal Cultural Burning Workshop in Bungendore across both weekend days.

Saturday is action-packed with an art workshop for kids in Batemans Bay, an Anzac Day concert at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club, an evening of live DJs playing at Moruya’s Waterfront Hotel and Minnie & The Moonrakers bringing their live swing and blues music to Braidwood.

Also on Saturday, Goulburn will host two events – the Markets on Bourke and the Speedway Race Night.
