One of the oldest agricultural events on the calendar returns this week. The annual Crookwell Show will have brought produce stalls and good old-fashioned woodchopping competitions to Crookwell 143 times after this weekend.
Wannabe skaters can learn all the tricks for nothing in Bombala, while the Lake Jindabyne Snow Dragons are offering the public a chance to come along and find out what dragon boating is.
The ABBA hit, Mamma Mia! will be brought to life as a musical performance in Wagga, while ‘Mark’ is showing off his non-existent dancing skills so he can raise funds for cancer treatments in Moruya.
There’ll also be the usual crop of regular markets in the Riverina, Cooma and Binalong offering fresh produce from across the region.

Now in its 143rd year, the Crookwell Show is one of the oldest agricultural shows in regional NSW. Organised and presented by the Crookwell Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Society, it will feature the region’s finest agricultural and horticultural produce, with no shortage of competitions either.

‘Mark Can’t Dance’, A Fundraiser for Cancer

A fun community night out with four great local bands and an opening young soloist. As part of fundraising efforts for Eurobodalla Stars (Dance for Cancer), all proceeds from ticket sales go towards ‘Fundraising for Cancer’ along with supporting local bands who have had a tough time over the past two years getting gigs.
