Motorcyclist dies after crash south of Narooma

A young man has died after a single-vehicle crash near the NSW South Coast town of Narooma late last week.

NSW Police said emergency services had been called to the Princes Highway at Corunna, which is about 10 km south of Narooma, at around 4 pm on Friday (17 January) over reports of a crash.

Officers were told a 21-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown from the vehicle.

He was treated by paramedics before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.

Tragically, on Saturday (18 January), police were told he had died in hospital.

“A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner,” a police spokesperson said.

“Inquiries continue.”
