Man charged over alleged aggravated robbery in Goulburn

A man will front Goulburn Local Court today, accused of an alleged aggravated robbery at the weekend.

A 38-year-old man was allegedly robbed and assaulted at a shopping centre on Auburn Street, Goulburn, at about 1:30 pm on Sunday (18 December).

The man was treated for injuries to his face before being taken to Goulburn Hospital in a stable condition.

Following police inquiries, a 33-year-old man was arrested in Forbes Street about an hour later.

He’s been charged with aggravated robbery with wounding/grievous bodily harm and refused police bail.
