UPDATE: Have you seen Toby? Missing 26-year-old found safe

AUGUST 23: Toby Jennings has been found safe and well about 15 km from where he was last seen.

The 26-year-old went missing from Moruya Hospital about 8 pm on Tuesday (20 August 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to South Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following a search, involving officers attached to South Coast Police District, SES, Police Dog Squad, Youth Police Command, Traffic and Highway Patrol, Surf Life Saving and Westpac Life Saver Helicopter, the man was located about 9:30 am today (Friday 23 August 2024), in remote bushland safe and well, approximately 15 kilometres from where he was last seen.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.

AUGUST 21: Police are calling for the public’s help to find a man missing from the NSW South Coast.

NSW Police said 26-year-old Toby Jennings was last seen at a hospital in River Street, Moruya, at about 8 pm on Tuesday (20 August).

When he could not be located or contacted, police were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.

“Police hold concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition,” a police spokesperson said.

Mr Jennings is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170 cm tall, of medium build with brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey/light green jumper, a maroon shirt worn inside-out as well as black, grey and white board shorts with blue skate shoes. He is possibly carrying a black and red backpack.

He is also believed to be driving a 2013 white Mazda 3 hatchback with NSW registration DPX40X
